Menu Plan Monday: October 19

Another Monday…another menu.  I am still loosely using the 6 week menu I put together a couple of weeks ago and it has helped a lot.  Now I’m stocking up on sales and only really needing to buy produce and dairy products.

Monday:

  • Cereal, milk & OJ
  • Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, steamed broccoli, bread & butter
  • Pork roast (crock pot), squash, peas

Tuesday:

  • toast, banana, milk
  • pork roast, squash, green beans, rolls, milk
  • fried fish, baked beans, apple

Wednesday:

  • coffee cake, peaches, milk
  • sausage, pancakes, hash browns, strawberries, milk
  • BBQ pork sandwiches, oven fries, carrot sticks

Thursday:

  • biscuits, OJ & milk
  • french bread pizza, apple slices, salad
  • leftovers

Friday:

  • apples, oatmeal, milk
  • macaroni & cheese, peas, oranges, milk
  • Stromboli, salad

Saturday:

  • brats,  chips, fruit
  • chimis, corn, salad

Sunday:

  • leftovers
  • potato soup (crock pot) & sandwiches

Since it is apple season and everyone around here loves apples, we are enjoying eating seasonally.  Also, I’m trying to make Mondays a day to use the crock pot so I am not starting the work week stressed out about supper.  Today it worked out really well…
